Quick reminder on a few rules,

NO SMOKING inside fenced area.
NO VEHICLE'S to be driven inside the fenced area.
NO FUELING OR CHAIN LUBRICATION in pit area.
Please put your rubbish in the bins provided, the rubbish that was left at the track is getting excessive.
For any racer that is running under there weight class, the weight needs to marked with it's correct weight to ensure safe fair racing. Please be prepared to have weight removed and check if necessary.
All weight needs to be safely secured, here are a few simple guidelines to follow,
Up to 2KG single bolt, 2-5 threads past nyloc nut.
2-5KG should be secured with minimum 2 bolts, 2-5 threads past nyloc nut.
Over 5kg is not advisable and is not accepted at other tracks. If you do choose a 5+KG weight, it should have sufficient fixtures. eg: On the back of a seat with 4 bolts, 2-5 threads past nyloc nut.

Race Meet - Round 3 Championship 2018

Round 3 of the 2018 Championship.

Plan ahead and mark your calendars!

Racing Sat from 3pm, qualy from 12pm, practice from 9am. Friday practice till 10pm under lights

PLEASE using the "going" button if you are attending this race meet, to help with numbers.

We need a volunteer or two for the START/FINISH line. Volunteers will receive free drink and burger from the canteen. We also need volunteers in the canteen. Please message us if you can help.

Greetings! Racing this Saturday, practice Friday till late.

The grass needs a quick trim to make it look neat and tidy. If anyone able to help TODAY from 4pm please come to the track and we'll give it the once over.

Also, we need VOLUNTEERS in the canteen AND in the tower to do the start finish line. Bring a friend or family member and get involved. All helpers are entitled to a free burger and drink.

A reminder to please pay your race nomination FEE before 12pm on Saturday OR as soon as you arrive. This is to help avoid us having to chase people for payment prior to racing start! No payment, no racing.

To reduce the handling of cash, please pay by EFTPOS if possible (sorry, no bitcoin!!)

Great weekend in Toowoomba. Good to see four different members from Dalby Kart Club at the track....a few of us got to practice on track with Scott McLaughlin! Great experience.

Greetings Dalby Kart Club Members

We will hold a committee meeting this Monday 19th March 6.30pm @ Canteen. Main agenda is to discuss preparation for race meeting 24th March, and plan major track upgrade works. All members welcome to attend.

(The following is not a promotion, just friendly sharing of information!)

Also, Scott McLaughlin is confirmed as racing in the open TaG 125 Heavy Class in Toowoomba this Sunday. If you love v8 Supercars and want to watch a professional drive a kart this weekend, here is your chance. There is also a $500 random draw for all karters who enter and race this weekend in Toowoomba. Spectators free.

The first race grid will be determined by qualifying times, fastest to slowest. Then we will race 4 full rounds, in normal direction. Each grid (after the 1st race) will be determined by accumulating points. There will be no reverse grid and no reverse direction racing.

Please also be aware of the new weight rules, and come early to weigh karts on our scales. Plenty of time Friday as well, to come practice and sort out lead, if required for your kart.
