Greetings Kart Club Members

We have an awesome new sign for our club thanks to club members Brendan Stapleton (artwork) and Josh Betts (donation of steel work, paint and labor).

It's ready to go up at the track! If anyone interested to help get it in place TODAY please message the kart page asap.

Round 1 Racing 2018
Thanks Gwenda for the added video.....

Thanks to everyone who attended Race Meet last night, and took the chance on the weather. Good roll up with 33 entries, despite the threat of mass flooding at any moment!! We got lucky and it stayed dry all day.

Good race meet with no major dramas or incidents. We look forward to more of the same in 2018.

Photo opportunity! WDRC has requested a photo for their newsletter after our successful grant application.

Bring your kart and a smile Friday from 3pm for a photo.

Track is open Friday for practice under lights till 10pm. Racing Saturday! Round 1 for 2018 Championship.

Weather looks cool and cloudy but not too wet for Saturday. Race meet will proceed unless conditions become unsafe. 50% chance of rain.

Greetings Kart Club Members. We will hold a committee meeting tomorrow, Monday 19th Feb 6.30pm @ Canteen.

Agenda:
1. Prep for upcoming race meet
2. Grant money received for track upgrade. Plan and discuss major works.
3. EFTPOS machine arrived and working.
4. Bin service JJ Richards
5. Trophies
6. Replacement shade installed.
7. Other general items.

All club members welcome.

It's official!!

Dalby Kart Club will receive another $35,000 from the QLD Community Gambling Grant Fund for major track upgrade works. The applications was for 70m of concrete track.

We will replace "turn 1" large sweeper, currently the roughest area of the track and the fastest corner of the track.

This adds to other recent major track improvements, and is a great benefit to our club to have access to this funding.
