Racing last night @ Dalby Kart Club. A few drone videos of the last three races of the night...getting harder to see from up there in the dark! And raining today so last night under lights worked great.

We had 41 entries total which is becoming the new normal for the club which is great to see. After a few out of the ordinary incidences in the early races, the 2nd half of the race night went well and drivers settled back into some good quality racing in all classes.

The canteen was well stocked with more variety then ever so the event was well catered for. Big thanks to our canteen helpers and all who contributed preparing the track and during the race meet. Thanks to Wayne Bradly on the start line as usual, and his helpers.

Stay tuned to FB for confirmation of the next race meet (night racing from now on). We expect a similar format: Practice Friday, camping available, then race Saturday evening under lights.

We are looking for more donations of podium prizes. If you are keen to add your company's goods to the box, please let us know!

Greetings Kart Club Members

Racing this Sat NIGHT 30th Sept under lights. Stinking hot days, cool nights, racing from 3pm sharp. Lots of classes to get thru which is great to see so we will start early and race into the cool night. There will be a few camping Friday night, so track will be open ALL DAY Friday as well for practice, and maybe even in to Fri night under lights. So come after work Friday for a practice session. Timing system will be up and running for Friday practice. More practice Saturday till racing start. Bring your friends and family, canteen will be open for cold drinks and great food.

We've made a few more small improvements around the track, and also need a few people to turn up Friday to clean up before racing. Empty bins, mow a few weeds, house out toilets, general tidy up before racing. So please come anytime Friday and lend hand to make Sat a great night of racing.

Looking for new tyres? RedHeadAuto has 7x sets of DUNLOP DFMs arriving late Friday, so get in quick if you need fresh rubber.

And there are still $50 sets of Bridgestone YJLs (kids only) in near new condition available. See Tim.

There is no profit in these tyres for the sellers, so this is a favour to club members!

Change to NIGHT racing for next race 30th September. Gates open from 8am for practice. Racing from 3pm sharp. We expect to run similar classes to last race meet (including ladies race!), and therefore want to start 3pm sharp. Expected race classeses are (not in race order):

4 Strokes
Juniors - KT100J
Seniors - KT100S
Seniors - 125s
Ladies only

Greetings Kart Club members. The committee met tonight and members voted to set the next race date as Saturday NIGHT 30th September. Our centre pole lights will be fixed and working reliably prior to racing. It will be great to get back to night racing with our new track upgrades, with additional lighting in the paddock area. Every light at the track is working!

Our club will also apply for further grants, from WDRC and QLD government gambling fund, to further improve our facility and encourage more participants and safer racing.
