Greetings All Dalby Kart Club Members

We will hold our AGM, Monday 14th August, 6.30pm, in the club canteen.

All committee positions will be declared vacant, and nominations for all positions will be taken and then voted upon.

We Need 10 persons minimum for voting. Please attend and make your vote count. Hope to see you there.

Another great race meeting has come to a close. With 40+ nominations, it made for some competitive racing across all classes. This meeting seen a strong attendance in J's, 4 stroke and 2 stroke seniors.
The newly upgraded track sections were welcomed by all drivers with some fast lap times being the result. It was great to see the many spectators come out for a warm, sunny entertaining day of racing. A big thanks to everyone who helped out flagging, canteen etc.

Anybody interested in flagging today, please come early. We need 3 people who are keen to have the best seats available to watch the action. Racing can't commence unless we have 3 flaggies willing to donate their time.
Race briefing starts at 11:45 so come early.

Anyone interested in practicing, the gates are open now and the canteen is open for breakfast.

Practice 9-11:30, Racing from 12:00.

Dalby Kart Club Racing tomorrow SUN 30th July from 12pm sharp. Gates open 8am for practice. Track open TODAY as well, with timing system from 11.30am. Come and try the new track surface and paddock improvements. Canteen open SUN all day. All welcome. Bring the family & friends.

Major upgrades to the Dalby Kart Track are about to commence. Below you can see the schedule of work to be carried out. We are looking for volunteers to help out. Extra help is required where the bold red is noted. If you are interested and can be available, please let us know.

ATTN MEMBERS
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The track is now closed for practice or access until after track upgrades are complete. Tyre barriers have been removed to allow for equipment access, deeming the track unsafe for Karts. Gate lock is now only accessible via committee members. We are scheduled to have the track open again prior to the next meeting. Earthworks are on track to commence this week with concrete to be poured from 20th of this month.

At present the length is approximately 580 meters in length with the average lap time of 30 + seconds, even though the tracks length may be short the layout lends it’s self to being an equaliser between classes allowing 4 strokes 2 stokes air and water cooled to mix it up.
